What This Is

Everyone can tell when a draft came out of AI. The stock phrases, the flat rhythm, the vague claims that could describe any business. This pack installs a full editing team inside Claude that fixes all of it. It learns how you actually write from your real samples, detects exactly which AI tells are showing up in a draft, rewrites the draft in your voice without touching your facts, and scores the improvement so you can see it worked instead of guessing.

Voice Profile

Learns your tone, rhythm, and vocabulary from 3 to 5 samples of your real writing.

AI-Tell Detector

Flags the 8 patterns that make text read robotic, with a scored report.

Rewrite Engine

Humanizes any draft in your voice while protecting every fact, number, and name.

0-100 Human Score

Grades a draft across 8 dimensions, so improvement is a number, not a feeling.

Install the Skills (2 Minutes)

The download button above gives you a zip file: write-like-a-human.zip. Inside it is one file, write-like-a-human.plugin, which bundles all 13 skills. You upload the plugin file, not the zip, so unzipping first is the step that matters.

  1. Download the zip using the yellow button at the top of this page.
  2. Unzip it. On Mac, double-click the zip file. On Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. You now have write-like-a-human.plugin.
  3. Open Claude (desktop or Cowork), click Customize in the left sidebar, then open the Plugins tab.
  4. Click the + button, choose Create plugin, then Upload plugin.
  5. Select write-like-a-human.plugin (the unzipped file) and confirm. Every skill installs and switches on automatically.
⚠️

Common mistake: Uploading the zip itself. Claude needs the .plugin file that comes out of the zip. If the upload is rejected, check you unzipped first.

💡

Quick check: After installing, ask Claude "what skills do I have?" You should see all 13 Write Like a Human skills in the list.

Run Your Setup First

Before humanizing anything, build your voice profile. This is a one-time step, and every other skill reads it automatically afterward.

"Set up Write Like a Human."
Claude asks for 3 to 5 samples of your real writing (emails, posts, anything you wrote yourself, not AI), plus a few quick preferences. It saves your voice profile and you never repeat this.

The samples decide everything. Pick pieces that sound most like you when you talk, not your most formal writing. A casual email you are proud of beats a polished report every time.

The Core Loop

For most drafts, the workflow is four moves:

  1. Detect. Paste the draft and ask for an AI-tell check. You get a scored report of what is making it sound robotic.
  2. Rewrite. Run the humanizer engine. It fixes what the report found, in your voice.
  3. Fact-check. Fact-guard compares the rewrite to the original so nothing got invented or lost.
  4. Score. Grade the before and after. Publish when the number proves the improvement.

When a draft needs deeper surgery, the specialist skills take over: rhythm for flat cadence, the scrubber for buzzwords, the specificity injector for vague claims, and story-weaver when a piece is accurate but has no pulse. Got a week of content? The batch humanizer runs everything in one pass.

🎯

Best practice: Score the draft before the rewrite too. Watching a 41 turn into an 87 tells you the system is working, and shows you which tells you produce most.

FAQ

Do I need anything else installed?

No. The plugin is complete on its own. Everything runs inside Claude.

Does it work on drafts from any AI?

Yes. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or anything else. If a draft sounds stiff, the pack does not care where it came from.

Can I build a voice profile for someone else?

Yes. voice-profile-builder supports a second profile for a client, a brand, or a ghostwriting voice, kept separate from your own.

Will my facts survive the rewrite?

That is what fact-guard exists for. Run it after any rewrite and it verifies every fact, number, name, and date against the original.
